We are an old (established 1860) bookbinding company, dealing in all forms of bookbinding and document presentation. Our main activity was the binding of university theses and dissertations, but other work includes book repair and restoration, and the production of retirement albums, bound magazines and journals, presentation volumes and other short-run work.
Sadly, after a century and a half, this business will be gradually winding down over the next few months. With the retirement of our senior binder last year the amount of work that can be accepted will be reduced.
For the present, however we shall continue to accept repairs, soft-bound dissertations, and repeat binding orders for established customers.
We recommend TELEPHONING IN ADVANCE before bringing in your work, so as to be sure we shall be open, and in a position to complete it within a reasonable time.
